Best Garlic Shrimp

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (weight after you peel them)
  • 6 cloves garlic, sliced thin
  • 1 tbsp Spanish olive oil
  • crushed red pepper flakes
  • pinch paprika
  • salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs like cilantro or parsley
  • Lime wedges for serving
Best Garlic Shrimp
  1. In a large skillet, heat oil on medium heat and add the garlic and red pepper flakes.
  2. Sauté until golden, about 2 minutes being careful not to burn.
  3. Add shrimp and season with salt and paprika.
  4. Cook 2-3 minutes until shrimp is cooked through.
  5. Do not overcook or it will become tough and chewy.
